One of the most unforgettable experience in life, was climbing Mount Fuji, Japan's highest peak at 3,776 m (12,388 ft). Though it took me slightly longer than usual because of so many occasionally stops for photo taking and.. yes.. snacking. haha.

In order to view the sun rise, we climbed through the terrain from night 2230 hrs to day break. I must admit that I was very shock at the shear amount of human bodies towards the end of the climb. Most of which started climbing during the day and camp there during the night before
waking up early in the morning to view the sun rise.

It is indeed a wonderful experience and I really think that if everyone had this chance, clibing to the very top of mount fuji and viewing the sun rise.. wow.. It was just spectacular..

However, I wish to state that the journey up was fun and rather chilly. It was about 5 degrees at the top during the climbing season. So, do remember to bring along any jacket or sweater before you start your journey.

"He who climbs Mt Fuji once is a wise man; he who climbs it twice is a fool".. and i totally agree with that.. haha.. the journe done was.. wow.. tough...

Had a wonderful weekend in Hong Kong. Just touch down Singapore today after a "Dim Sum Trip", literally known as "Cantonese High Tea". I have been yearning for good cantonese Dim Sum for the past 2 weeks, its kindda wierd, its just like a sudden urge for good chinese food without any triggers attached. Well, now that I have my Dim Sum, at least that would keep my craving for in check for a while. Haha..

Went to 3 different places for Dim Sum in Hong Kong. Namely: Mu Dan Ting, Chao Ting and Tang Chao. Since I have been to Mu Dang Ting and Tang Chao before, I would not eleborate much on these 2 great restaurant. Lets talk about the new restaurant I tried at Chao Ting.

If you happen to be in Hong Kong, do not miss the chance to visit this restaurant, located at 10/F, 1 Peking Road, Tsim Sha Tsui. The nearest MTR station is at Tsim Sha Tsui, and takes about 3 mins walk from the station to the restaurant. The restaurant provides a splendid view of Victoria Harbour, enhancing the ambience of fabulous dining while you enjoy the mouth watering Chang Fen(Rice Rolls) and Har Kow(Shrimp Dumplings). Price wise, it is definetly a lot cheaper if you eat during the weekdays, a single dish range between 12-14 HKG dollars which is around USD$1.50 - USD $2.

If you are planning on a trip to Hong Kong, I would recommend the Kowloon Hotel because not only is it located next to the MTR Tsim Sha Tsui, it is surrounded by shopping districts and lots of eating joints, making everything so much convenient. Price wise, it is definetly value for money, or should I say, cheap, for a decent hotel like Kowloon.

Oh Yes, before I forget, come 15 Sep is the Mid-Autumn festival, when chinese celebrate by carrying laterns and eating mooncakes, a pastry with thick filling usually made from lotus seed paste and surrounded by a relatively thin crust. Some may contain yolks from salted duck eggs.
