We all know the definition of sin, it is often used to mean an action that is prohibited or considered wrong. Now when I say that when it is a sin to be poor, I believe a lot of people out there is sinned. Nevertheless, this article could probably bring some resentment from the general public because they never want to be associated with it. However, let me explain to you why it is a sin to be poor..
"I will be yours in times of plenty and in times of want, in times of sickness and in times of health, in times of joy and in times of sorrow, in times of failure and in times of triumph. I promise to cherish and respect you, to care and protect you, to comfort and encourage you, and stay with you, for all eternity"
This is a typical wedding vow in front of the lord. Now, when one is poor, one is not able to provide the happiness and joy which was being promised. When one is poor, one is not able to give and provide what is necessary in times of need and sickness. When one is poor, one is not able to provide all the care and love because of all the stress and problems he has brought back with him after work.
There is more to come. We were taught to love each and every human being by the lord. When one is poor, one is not able to contribute more to the improvement of better lives for others. When one is poor, one is not able to help those who is in need. When one is poor... he becomes more "selfish" because he needs this "selfishness" for his own survival than care about the people around him...
Psychologically, when one is poor, one harvest many wrongful thoughts to generate additional money. Scams, cheatings etc Vices like gambling, smuggling, robbing and hurting people comes into the mind. When one is poor, one loses respect for himself and could indirectly affect the people around him..
When one is poor.. one is not able to repay the unconditional love his parents once showered him with. When one is poor.. one is not able to embrace the love the lord has given him in order for him to walk the earth so that one could cherish the beauty of living.. When one is poor.....
Each and everyone of us happens to be here because there of a purpose. No one has been brought here to suffer and endure the pain life has given us. We therefore, need to be wealthy and bring prosperity into our lives so that we can bring happiness to others and stop being selfish ourselves..
In order for us to get wealthy and prosperous, we need to take control of our lives. We need to be successful and stand our ground against failure so that we never give up.. I remember a quote from my mentor, he said "history has been read but it is also being written by people with imagination". Let me ask you then..

There is no such thing as being poor. The universe offers abundance to every living thing.
Poor is a mindset. If you believe you are poor, then you will be. All you need to do is ask and the universe will give you anything you want. That's a universal law.
Hey Joyce, I do agree with you that the universe offers the right to abundance for every human being.
But then again, I do not agree that the universe will give you anything you want if you ask for it. In my case however, I believe the universe will give you anything you want when you are willing to exchange something in return.
Poor is a mindset, Rich is also a mindset. However, you see rich brats losing their father's legacy or family's fortune even though they believe they are rich. What I want to say is, to attract prosperity, you have to let go of the victim mindset. And if you do not see yourself creating a future for yourself, you will forever be holding on to the victim's mindset, because what you possess is "limited" whereas prosperity, like the universe, is unlimited.
Maybe I've used a different word in the title, The right word to describe this 'poor' is "Not living life as it should be lived... and that is a prosperous life"..
Thanks Sarah. I will keep posting valuable insights to share. ^^
