Recently, something very interesting happened. In fact, it kind of make me wonder if they really know what they are doing. Let me just say that network marketing industry is a curious one, nobody can predict what the other party is thinking about..
If you are into Internet Marketing, you probably know Simon Leung and Mike Morgan. They are considered the IM Gurus and have made tons of money off the internet. Simon recently send me an email asking if I was interested in joining him in a network marketing project. Well, obviously he has also send out this message to all his subscribers. In their internet marketing strategy,like Simon, Mike Morgan, along with 10 other IM Gurus also did the same thing to all their subscribers.. meaning that they have send out this “opportunity” out to maybe more than 100,000 subscribers.
The result ? Within 48 hours, All of them got their Free BMWs which the Network Marketing company offers for people with exceptionally good performance.. So can you imagine how many people joined them in network marketing during that span of 48 hours ?
Well, obviously alot of them signed up for the business because of the “credibility” of these IM Gurus. I hope I may be wrong but I feel that most of them signed up in hope of “quick money”, hoping Simon, Mike could help build their “downline” for them.. Do they really know what they signed up for ? If they don’t, there could be danger brewing in the air..
In fact, I also believe that most of them have said “No” to network marketing or even failed in network marketing before. But why do they signed up if they have so strongly held their beliefs before this opportunity came ?
If they do not know what they have signed up for, if they hope that the IM gurus will help build their downline and make them rich, I guess they are in for a surprise. One very important lesson in my path as an entreprenuer is that nobody would care more about your business than yourself. If you don’t do your part and put in your effort to build your business in hope that others will do it for you, your business will most likely be a failure.
Another lesson we can learn from this incident is how we bring the message across to the people whom we hope to share this opportunity with. As I’ve mentioned, the industry is a curious one, people whom have rejected network marketing before are taking their chances in this opportunity. First, because of the credibility Simon and Mike brings and secondly, how the IM Gurus brings the message across..
I hope the people whom have signed up with them succeed in their quest for wealth. Network Marketing Works, but it is really up to us to make it work. Like all business, if nothing is done, nothing can happen.
