One of the key element to succeeding in network marketing is something known as posture. Without posture, its going to affect relationship between friends and families, which indirectly affects how people look at network marketing. Without posture, you are downgrading yourself from an entreprenuer into a begger. Without posture, you are not going to be attractive to your prospect but rather, deemed as a nuisance or liability.
So.. what is posture ? Is it the way we sit, stand.. walk ? Well, it can be defined as the way we carry ourselves professionally. We must always understand that in network marketing, we hold a thrump card to riches. Therefore, what we are doing, is simply sharing this thrump card opportunity to people who wish to create wealth and attain prosperity. We are looking for people who is "looking". Thats the whole key of network marketing. We share with people a golden opportunity to attain time and financial freedom so that one can create their dream life.
Therefore, it must be clear that we don't beg people to join our business. We also don't force people to join our business, which in both cases are common mistake made by a lot of new network marketers. They therefore never succeed. They beg their friends to look at the opportunity. They go back again and again to pester people to look at the opportunity, insisting that this is for them. How pathetic is that ? Think how your stand is if people is begging you for something ? Think how irritating the feeling is if someone is pestering you over and over again ? If a guy is begging a girl to be his girl friend.. how high do you think his chances are ?
When you beg, you are putting yourself "lower" than the person you are trying to bring into your business. If you are at a lower status, do you think people will be convinced that teaming with you and following your guidance will lead them into prosperity ? Even if you really know the secrets, begging or pestering will lead you towards the door of failure.
A very simple illustration is this: You were given a lottery ticket worth 10 million dollars. It was given by God, Buddha or any other supreme beings. You knew the numbers is going to be published in the newspaper this coming weekend. Because you wanted all whom you knew to become rich like you after this weekend, you shared the lottery numbers with them. Some of them will buy the numbers while others have excuses and will not buy the numbers. Now, knowing this is your ticket to riches, will you beg people and force them to buy the numbers even after they rejected you or tease you? Even if you did, how high are the chances that they will be convinced and buy the numbers in the end?
We can only help the people who wants to help themselves and not people who is always feeling negative about themselves. Therefore, I urge you to maintain posture, knowing that what you hold, is a business opportunity worth 5 million dollars, if there are people who is willing to earn this 5 million dollars, we will share it with them. As for the people who don't wish to earn that 5 million dollars.. we don't beg them to get rich...
